Along the riverwalk rests a statue of St. Antonio, a gift from Portugal -- at least according to our riverboat guide.
I couldn't resist.
So, in honor of Anthony Pacheco, Hack Writer, I give you Saint Anthony:
Alex takes time out from writing YA fantasy to blog about the joys and angst of writing, the movers and shakers of the writing world, and must-read authors. Grab a cup of joe & join the conversation. She'd love to hear your point of view.

Oh my gosh my family is actually from Portugal. Too funny!
The folk tradition in my neck of the woods is to ask St. Anthony to help recover lost items. The request goes: "Dear Saint Anthony, please come down. Something is lost and cannot be found."
@anthony: tee hee! bet there's some spooky/spiritual connection there :)
@diane: i'd never heard that before. very awesome
